I learned something new about my husband. He has an uncanny ability to communicate with animals. I honestly don't know how he does it, but I'm calling him the BeastMaster now.

He somehow managed to get this chimpanzee to come over to us at the zoo, and he sat down right in front of Jack and just looked at him. It was really neat to see Jack observe him and try to interact with him. I think his favorite animal at the zoo was this crane that was brightly colored. It would walk over near us and Jack would start shrieking with excitement.

I love seeing things through his eyes, and I can only imagine what he thought of all the animals.
